​I'm an old school reporter whose days of scoring double trucks are well behind him. But that doesn't mean I don't know a good story when I see one. I've worked for small town rags and big city broadsheets and everything in between.

In my considerable experience, the key to writing compelling copy is dogged determination and the willingness to commit fully to asking the hard questions, even when they take you, and ultimately the reader, to dark places. Each and every piece on this site is painstakingly researched. No stone is ever left unturned.

 

Despite this, I have never won an award for my journalism. Not even a Daytime Pulitzer. I don't work as hard as I do unraveling the mysteries of life for fame or fortune, however. I'm not in this for awards. But at this point it almost seems intentional on their part, as if they are afraid of what I am doing. And isn't that the greatest reward of all?
